End of the Semester

Well, it would appear that we are slacking in our blog updates. This is the first time we've posted anything since... the first post. Justin and I finished finals yesterday and now we're in Oregon for winter break. We had a difficult but fun semester, and all we can say is that we're glad it's over!

Married life is wonderful. I didn't know it was possible to love someone as much as I love Justin. And we get to be together forever!

This semester Justin decided to change his major to Spanish with a minor in Business, and I am still studying Home and Family Life (emphasizing in interior design) and Spanish. We recently heard about a program through BYU that will allow Justin to receive a Global Management Business Certificate by taking some classes this summer at the Monterrey Technical Institute in Monterrey, Mexico. You all know how much we love to travel so we're really excited about the opportunity. Right now we're working on applying for scholarships to be able to go. We would leave at the beginning of May, spend a few weeks with Justin's family in California, and then be in Mexico until July. We hope it works out!

Our First Blog

We thought it would be a good idea to start a blog so that our family and friends can be updated as our lives as newlyweds unfolds. We have been married four weeks today! It has gone by in a whirlwind but we have loved every minute of it.

It is so nice to come home to OUR apartment everyday. The first days back in Provo were hectic as we unpacked and furnished our place. From 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. we were organizing, putting together furniture, setting up the computers, picking up just bought furniture, decorating, running to Target and Wal-Mart, & Costco. But the end result is awesome! We are so happy with our new home.

Also, 1 year ago today we left on our Study Abroad Program to Spain. We miss it soooo much! We had such an amazing experience there and hope to someday return.

I'm sure we'll be posting much more about "Our Story" and all of the things that brought us together at a later time.
